A Thoughtful Start Matters
My Champion Heart Ragdolls is a small, ethical, in-home cattery focused on health, temperament, and long-term breed preservation. Our foundation cats include CFA and TICA titled lines, and all breeding decisions are guided by genetic testing, education, and intentional pairing.
Because placements matter, we begin every conversation with a questionnaire. This allows us to understand your home, expectations, and lifestyle before moving forward. If you’ve reviewed the reservation steps above and feel aligned with our program, you may begin by completing the questionnaire below.
Reservation Steps - Q&A
Q: Is a questionnaire required before moving forward with communication?
Yes. A completed questionnaire is required before moving forward with email communication regarding availability, waitlist placement, or reservations. This helps ensure we understand each family’s lifestyle, expectations, and needs so we can provide accurate guidance and make responsible placement decisions.
Q: How do I begin the reservation process with My Champion Heart Ragdolls?
The process begins with submitting a completed application through our website. Approved applicants may be invited to join our waitlist or move forward with a reservation when availability allows.
Q: Do you accept deposits for unborn or very young litters?
Yes. We accept waitlist deposits for planned litters, unborn litters, or kittens who are born but not yet of evaluation age (typically 10–12 weeks). A waitlist deposit secures priority placement, not a specific kitten.
Q: What is the difference between a waitlist deposit and a kitten reservation deposit?
A waitlist deposit holds a place in line and priority to reserve a kitten once one becomes available.
A reservation deposit applies only to a specific kitten and is accepted after evaluation and formal offer.
Q: Does a waitlist deposit guarantee a specific kitten?
No. A waitlist deposit guarantees priority consideration when kittens are offered, but it does not guarantee a specific kitten until a reservation agreement is completed.
Q: How are kittens matched to families?
Placement is guided by lifestyle, household environment, and kitten temperament. Families are thoughtfully offered kittens that best align with their preferences and long-term success. We do not force placements and will not place a kitten where we believe it would not thrive.
Q: Are kittens reserved on a first come, first served basis?
Not strictly. While timing matters, placement is ultimately based on best fit, temperament, and the kitten’s best interest, not speed alone.
Q: Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are generally non refundable and are governed by the terms outlined in our written agreement. Please review all terms carefully before committing.
Q: Can a kitten be held via email, text, or social media message?
No. Holds are only placed with a completed agreement and cleared deposit. Informal communication does not secure a reservation.
Q: Are kittens ever placed intact?
In very rare circumstances, a kitten may go home intact under a strict written agreement. This is not granted for convenience or by request alone. Registration papers are withheld until proof of spay or neuter is provided, and the breeder retains access to medical records to confirm compliance.
Q: What is included when a kitten goes home?
Kittens go home vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and with medical records, a purchase agreement, and health warranty. Spay or neuter is completed unless otherwise approved under contract.
Q: Do families need to confirm housing and allergies before reserving?
Yes. Families must confirm that no household member has cat allergies and that cats are permitted in the home if renting. These confirmations are required prior to placement.
Q: Do you accept kittens back if a family can no longer keep them?
Yes. While there are no refunds, we do accept kittens back into our care. A veterinary exam and NexGard Combo treatment are required prior to return to ensure health and safety.
Q: Do you offer delivery or shipping?
Yes. We offer domestic delivery through trusted pet flight nannies. Details are provided once a reservation is confirmed.
